Hello! I’m Gizem Ballı. In my professional career, I aim to add value to projects through strategic thinking and achieve strong results with teamwork. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University Throughout my career. I have gained valuable experience in marketing specialist, and business development, where I utilized data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

I graduated from Ege University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. In 2022, I joined the ASBERG as an intern researcher in the project on PV recycling (TÜBİTAK STAR). I continued in the project as an undergraduate scholar and during this time, I wrote my bachelor's thesis on a parallel topic to the project. I am currently taking part in a PV recycling project as a master student. Also I am working on the use of phase change materials used in the storage of latent heat energy in photovoltaic panels.

I graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, in August 2022. Since February 2023, I have been working at VESTEL Cooking Appliances factory as a Quality Assurance and Customer Technical Support Engineer. My responsibilities include providing solutions to feedback from domestic and international customers, analyzing data received from our overseas offices, and conducting data analysis. As part of my job, I occasionally visit our international customers on-site to address their issues. In addition to my professional experience, I have always aspired to pursue a master’s degree in order to broaden my horizons. I greatly value the knowledge and insights that academia offers and believe that every engineer who is open to development should pass through the path of academia at some point. Being able to pursue my master’s degree in the field of energy technologies, which I am particularly interested in, makes me even more motivated and fulfilled
